It was a typical morning at our house until lunch time when Gerry surprised Maria by coming home early. He wanted to see her off to school on her last day. She was very excited about that. She was also excited that her daddy got to put her on the bus since I was usually the one who did it.
Waiting for the bus.
Getting on the bus one last time!
Maria came home to a few more surprises. When her bus pulled up the street we were all standing on the porch holding balloons! Even more exciting was the cookie cake waiting inside for her. She didn't know what to think about it all. When she got off the bus she asked "Is it my birthday?" Naomi waiting for her sister to get home!

Do I have anything in my teeth?
We just explained to her that we were so proud of her completing her first year of pre-school, and we were proud of all the hard work she had done over the past year. She was so cute and so excited about the whole day. She also told me it was a good thing she was wearing a skirt since she got balloons and a cake! Ha ha! She cracks me up!
After dinner we headed up to the Little Gym for her final class of the year. The actual last day for the class and the Final Performance was the following Thursday, but we were all going to be at Maria's Aunt Karen's rehearsal dinner, so we made this night special for her. I took a lot of video of the things she's learned. She has really come along way in this class, as well. She wouldn't try the balance beam at first and wouldn't hang from the bars, but now she's all about it! Since she wasn't going to be there on the official last day, they awarded her with her medal, and she was so excited about that!
Here are a few pics of her last day!
